Terms of Use

1. Nature of the service

Teknedeyim is a boat rental and shared fishing trip marketplace that connects guests with verified boat owners/hosts. Trips and booking terms are set by the host; Teknedeyim provides the booking, payment, messaging, fishing map and support infrastructure. Teknedeyim is not a boat operator and does not itself provide the trip.

2. Creating an account

You create your account by verifying a one-time SMS code (OTP) or by signing in with Google or Apple. You confirm that your account and booking information is accurate, current and your own. Using another person's account or providing misleading information is not allowed.

3. Booking, payment and cancellation

A booking becomes binding when payment or quote approval is completed. Shared trips are subject to seat capacity; full-boat bookings are subject to vessel capacity and quote terms. Before payment, direct contact details such as phone or WhatsApp should not be shared outside the platform. See the full cancellation and refund terms here.

4. Fishing map and community content rules

• Posts, photos, comments and messages you add to the fishing map must not contain illegal, dangerous, harassing content or content that infringes on others' rights.

• You are responsible for following sea-safety rules and fishing restrictions/quotas.

• You can report an inappropriate post or block a user; these tools are available on every post and profile in the app.

• Content that violates these rules may be removed even without a report; repeated violations may lead to account suspension.

5. Account termination

You can close your account at any time using "Delete my account" in the app. Teknedeyim may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, endanger safety, or are suspected of fraud.

6. Limitation of liability

Teknedeyim is a platform that connects guests and hosts; the host is responsible for actually providing the trip, for boat and equipment safety, and for the captain's instructions. For disruptions caused by weather, sea safety or force majeure, Teknedeyim's liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Changes

Teknedeyim may update the service and these terms for legal or operational reasons. Material changes will be announced through appropriate channels.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; Turkish courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over any disputes.
